Supporting and enhancing the lives of individuals and families in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area since 1989.

Parenting Together, Living Apart
Parenting Together, Living Apart is a 4-hour course that fulfills the requirements of the Virginia Code requiring divorcing parents with minor children to attend a parent education seminar before their court appearance.
This course supports and educates single, separated, or divorcing parents in relation to ideal ways to approach parenting their children together, while living apart.
Parenting Together, Living Apart is locally designed and instructed by experts in law & psychology— the only one of its kind! This course gives particular emphasis to children’s developing needs and psychology, and can be tailored to individual participants.
Children thrive when parents, whether living under one roof or two, collaborate in providing safe and secure environments for them. Co-parents can work together to ensure that their children grow up feeling securely attached to both parents. Children who grow up securely attached, become happy, healthy, self-reliant, and empathic adults able to experience rich and fulfilling lives. The rewards of raising securely attached children last a lifetime!
